we're getting old!
I’m used to waiting for the girls to arrive for dinner. I remember waiting almost an hour for the others to arrive one night at Bizu when the waitresses must have thought I was wasting their table for ten!
I was convinced that would happen again tonight so I made sure I had my Kindle, freshly stocked with a new batch of sample chapters.
Lo and behold six of the girls were already there when I got to Fely J at 7:30. We must really be getting old and mature if everyone arrives on time. Yumazing.
We’ve been friends for such a long time. I’ve known Nasha, Leo and Betchay since Grade Two. That adds up to almost twenty years! I think I became classmates with Louie and Kat the following year. Timi in Grade Six. Pat in First Year, Cat-cat around then also + Chorale. Patch and I started hanging out in Ateneo. And the rest is awesome.
Here’s to many more years of unsentimental but solid cucumbership.
